New Promotions

LBC wants to share these promotional ideas designed to excite your players and keep them coming back to your hall. Not every idea is for everyone but the least we can do is brainstorm and get you thinking about what have you done for your players lately.

Try a few of these ideas and follow us to the path of profitability and fun! These ideas will:

  • Help you get players into your bingo hall.
  • Show you how to get players to spend more money at your bingo hall.
  • Give you ideas for winning door prizes.
  • Teach you how to run successful promotions.

Hot Seat.  Introduce a new volunteer have them put an envelope with money in it under a chair.  Being that the volunteer is new they will not know where people customarily sit so their choice will be totally random.  Have the volunteer pay the patron whatever cash prize was decided upon.

Break out the fireworks! It's time to celebrate July 4th!

Decorate in Red, White & Blue with flags! Give away summer stuff:  Lawn furniture, coolers, grills, fireworks.

Clear Jar.  Put money in a clear jar and have players guess how much is in it.  This can be seasonal with jelly beans for Easter, Red Hots for July 4th, Indian corn for the fall, peppermint sticks for Christmas.  This promotion works best if you do over a length of time; every time a player is there they get one guess.  The one closest without going over would be the winner.  Must be present and playing a package in order to win.

Let's pay tribute to all the Dad's out there!

Give away Dad things:  Charcoal grill, tools, lawn furniture…

Give away Dinners to steakhouses like Outback or Texas Raodhouse.

Jumpin’ Jackpot!!  We are all too aware of how when the progressive jackpot gets hit the crowd will dip since the jackpot chasers having gone elsewhere.  Since most paper played has three rows let there be three separate progressive jackpots.  This will hopefully keep at least one jackpot at 56 numbers or more.  Take some time to think about this one.  We love it!

Start your engines....have a race day!

Hide a pot filled with gold chocolate coins or real coins somewhere in the hall. Have three players drawn from the door prize to hunt for the pot o' gold!  Have fun searching for the "luck" left by the leprechauns.

Serve potatoes, cabbage and corned beef.

Sell Merchandise!

Try selling merchandise games, or selling more merchandise games!

A lot of people may be walking out of your bingo game a loser. If you sell merchandise games, this will help more people walk out with something in their hands. Not all merchandise players are pull tab players.

Clear Jar

We've all played this game at some point. It's fun! Put money in a clear jar and have your players guess how much is in it.

This can be a fun seasonal game also. Put candy conversation hearts in the jar for Valentine's Day, or jelly beans for Easter, or Red Hots for July 4th.

This promotion works best if you play it over a length of time. Give each player one guess over a period of time. The one closest to the total without going over would be the winner. The player must be present and playing a package in order to win.

Hot Seat

Before the bingo players arrive to play bingo, ask a new volunteer to pick a chair and give them an envelope with money in it to put under the seat of the chair.

Being that the volunteer is new, they will not know where people customarily sit so their choice will be completely random.

Door Prizes

It gives you a brief moment to personally congratulate them and to thank them for coming to your bingo hall. The player will appreciate the recognition that you personally give them. Give every bingo player a dauber. Put door prizes in the cap, like the soft drink companies do.

Taking Out the Trash Night

Operator gets 7 to 10 paper bags and fills them with daubers, instants, coupons, small prizes like key chains, mugs, t.shirts, etc. Draw tallies from the door and have those players come up and pick a prize out of the brown bag.

Spending Money

Always pay the seal winners in small bills, like $10’s, $5’s and $1’s. The more small bills you have on the floor, the faster the players will turn them.  Players feel rich if they have a stack of 20 five dollar bills over 5 twenty dollar bills.
